Location of the Laval Cemetery
The Laval Cemetery covers an area of about 20 million square feet; it is surrounded by farmland and has several streams running through it. It is recognized by ornithologists as one of the most beautiful bird-watching sites, where more than 186 species were identified in 2017, and one of the most beautiful natural habitats preserved in Laval and greater Montreal to observe the plants and wildlife.
A number of footpaths run through the surrounding forest, and our many visitors use them year-round.
